About Me

Hello

My name is Claire and I am a registered childminder in Thirsk, North Yorkshire.

I have worked for Social Services and adoption and fostering before deciding to step into a child care setting.
I live with my husband who is an AA patrolman and our children.
We have a lovely, well mannered Miniature Schnauzer named Stanley and our British Shorthair cat named Dottie, Ragdoll Ethel, and two persians named Dougal and Bluebell.
I am now a Hygge Accredited setting and currently working towards my degree in Early Childhood.

My Experience

As well as being a Mum myself I have worked in a primary school in Reception, Year 1 and 2 as a volunteer and as an assistant for a child with special needs.

Prior to becoming a childminder I worked as a Childminding assistant and I have enjoyed gaining the knowledge and experience I believe it vital for this role.

Wonderful from start to finish

We couldn’t recommend Claire enough! She has been incredibly helpful, supportive, and kind throughout our child’s time there. Her dedication and warmth have made the transition into school almost effortless, and we are truly grateful for her positive impact on our child’s experience.
