About Me
Hello, thank you for taking the time to look at my childcare profile and welcome to Watch me grow childcare. My name is Dominica Hodges, I have been an ofsted registered childminder since February 2011.
A little about myself. I am married and have a nineteen year old daughter (at university), a fourteen year old daughter and an thirteen year old son. I have completed a honours degree in Education and and Special Educational Needs and I am passionate about every child receiving the best possoble childcare experience alongside achieving their own personal early years outcomes, ready for their next steps in their journey.
Here at Watch me grow childcare we, enjoy being out and about on bear hunts and trying to find the Gruffalo, and lots trips to the different parks, just a few minutes from our setting.
With large garden, sensory room and a dedicated play room, filled with an extensive range of age appropriate toys and learning tools. Such equipment and having a curriculum enables me to ensure I effectively meet the standards outlined through Ofsted and the EYFS and allows me to be able to successfully follow the children's interests and needs. We provide a safe and stimulating environment where children can enjoy learning, we believe a love of learning is essential for success throughout their lives and education.
I thoroughly enjoy caring for children and believe every child can grow and flourish within a positive and safe environment.

I have worked in schools, nurseries including a special educational needs school.
I have experience of caring for a children with various additional needs and have successfully completed my degree in Education and Special Educational Needs.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
We are able to discuss fees and funded places on initial visit. Childcare vouchers accepted from numerous providers.
9 month to 3 - 4 year funding offered. Both 15 and 30 hours dependant on parent/carer requirements
Tax free childcare accepted.

Dominica has been fantastic with us as parents and my children. Always willing to help and assist in anyway she can. Both my children love going and cannot wait to go again. What more can i say if my children are happy. Would highly recommend without hesitation

Dominica provided childcare for my 3 year old boy before her maternity leave. He absolutely loved his time there, especially playing with Dominica's lovely daughter! Dominica was always very thorough and keen to support Charlie in any way possible. Fantastic childminder!
