About Me
My name is Aoife, I am 31 years old. I have been working as a home childminder/nanny of 6 years now and have been working in childcare since 2016. I have always enjoyed spending time with children and getting to know each ones individual personality. I enjoy painting and drawing and love doing arts and crafts with children. I feel my creative skills have developed a strong and resourceful capacity for responding to the needs of children in a stimulating and imaginative way. I have an interest in animals and the natural world especially anything to do with the sea. I like walking and wild swimming when I have the time.
My Experience
I have finished a Level 3 Course in Childcare. I have several references that I would be happy to provide when asked. I am a childminder so work out of my own home. I have a driving licence and access to my own car. I worked in an after school based in Grange Park Primary school and I have also worked in The Kindergarten in Hollywood Rudolph Steiner. Aoife has helped us enormously for two months. She is very proactive, coming up with suggestions for teaching / discipline and bringing along her own books and games to get to know the children. I think she is especially good with little ones. She is a kind person who will always work hard and do her best; I really admire her tenacity for applying herself to things and achieving everything she has. Thank you Aoife x

Aoife is a wonderful childminder. She is reliable, fun and pragmatic, all the things you would want in someone looking after your children. Our kids adore her and really enjoy all the craft, outings and games they get up to during their time with her. We feel very lucky to have found such a fun and caring person to look after our children.

Aoife is great with my kids and they love it when she comes to look after them. She plays games with them, reads books to them, shows them how to make things and takes them out for walks. Occasionally she has had to feed and put them to bed, and has the right balance between being fun and taking practical care of them, sticking to their normal routine. I have always found Aoife to be courteous and reliable and would highly recommend her as a nanny, childminder or babysitter.
