My name is Elizabeth, I am an Ofsted registered childminder. On my latest Inspection I received an overall rating of “Good”
I live with my husband Stephen, our 3 lovely boys Luke, David and Logan and our family dog Poppy a small Cockapoo.
We are a non smoking family.
Tadworth is a lovely location for children, with a number of local play parks close by, beautiful woodland areas and plenty of playgroups.
I aim to provide parents with a high quality of childcare and to provide your children with a ‘home from home’ environment where they feel safe, secure and relaxed so they are able enjoy their time with me. I have a large playroom with lots of fun and interesting toys, I set out activities tailored to each individual child and their learning style but also encourage lots of free play. I offer a wide range of activities including art and craft and cookery. The safeguarding and welfare of your child is paramount as well as the learning and development of each individual child through the delivery of the Early Years Foundation stage.
My Experience
In my early 20’s I worked as a private Nanny for a lovely family, doing some house keeping but mainly looking after their daughter.
I also worked for The Childrens Trust in Tadworth as a Care Assistant for 6 years, working with the children in their normal day to day life and also assisting them at the on-site school. I have experience with different ages of children ranging from babies to young adults. I love working with children and helping them develop and grow. I have been childminding since 2017.

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Elizabeth—she is everything you could wish for in a childminder and more. From day one, she made us feel completely at ease with her warm, friendly, and professional approach. It's clear that she genuinely loves working with children, and it shows in everything she does.

We were recommended Elizabeth by family members, as Elizabeth had cared for their 2 children in their early years (the children still speak about Elizabeth often as they were so fond of her).
From the very first day I met Elizabeth, it was clear that our son would be in the most loving and nurturing hands. Elizabeth has been more than just a childminder—she’s become an incredibly important part of our son’s life, and ours too, so much so that he even talks about Elizabeth daily on our holidays.
Elizabeth’s warmth, patience, and genuine love for the children she looks after shine through in everything she does. Every morning, our son goes in with a big smile, so excited to see her—and that in itself speaks volumes. Elizabeth creates a calm, happy, and stimulating environment where he has absolutely thrived, not just emotionally, but in his development too. His speech and communication skills, cognitive skills, motor skills, social interaction and confidence have all developed so beautifully, and we know it’s thanks to Elizabeth’s patience, care and guidance.
She celebrates his little milestones with as much joy as we do, and we always feel informed, involved, and supported by Elizabeth’s photo updates throughout the day. I love that I get glimpses of him having fun while I’m at work. It means the world to us as parents to know that our child is being looked after by someone who treats him with so much love, care, and enthusiasm.
We feel incredibly lucky and grateful to have found Elizabeth. She has made such a positive impact on our son’s early years, and we couldn’t have wished for anyone better to be part of this important journey. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.

Elizabeth has been an incredible part of our family’s life since 2019, when she began caring for our eldest son. From the start, I was looking for a “home from home” environment—somewhere warm, nurturing, and filled with care—and that’s exactly what we found with Elizabeth.
When our second son was born in 2020, I was so relieved and grateful that she had space for him as well. Returning to work was much easier knowing both of my children were with someone I trusted completely.
Elizabeth creates such a fun and stimulating environment for the children. She plans a wide range of educational and creative activities that keep them learning, exploring, and engaged every day. I also really appreciate the regular photo updates she sends—it's such a joy to see them playing, crafting, and smiling throughout the day. It gives me real peace of mind knowing they’re so happy and well looked after.
She is not only professional and reliable but genuinely kind, patient, and attentive to each child’s individual needs. Both of my children have thrived in her care, and I couldn’t be more grateful.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Elizabeth to any family looking for a caring, experienced, and dedicated childminder.

Elizabeth is a fantastic childminder. She was recommend to us by a family member and we are so pleased to have found her. We were looking for someone kind and empathetic who loves children and she is exactly that and more. She is extremely patient and fun with the children. She has really exceeded our expectations in terms of the provision of activities. She provides a range of different educational experiences for the kids and Rupert has learnt lots from being with her and the other kids. I really don't know how she manages to do so many different activities in a day with multiple young children!
I was nervous about my son starting childcare as I knew it would be a big transition for him (and me) I wanted to know who was looking after my child each day and trust them which is what I found with Elizabeth.
She always sends regular updates with photos. She was very honest about how it was going on the first few weeks when he was settling in and always put his needs first. He now loves being there and will really miss Elizabeth and her family!

From the minute I spoke to Elizabeth on the phone, I knew she would be the right cjildminder for my son. He has special needs and Elizabeth was the first person I came across who was very excited to look after my son and has done everything possible to sipport him and his special needs. He feels safe, and very happily settled with her and it's veryrare for him to bond so easily with anyone else but they have bonded so beautifully that it melts my heart to see him so happy.
She is a truly amazing person, provides a safe environment for all children, takes them on so many outings, and most importantly is a very loving and caring person to my som and us as a family.
I have struggled with childminders in the past but getting to know Elizabeth, Honestly words are not enough to explain how wonderful she is.
I highly recommend her to any prospective parents!!!
