About Me

I have just left the NHS after over 12 years as Midwife, the last five I have been in a specialist role. I am currently setting up my own business and am looking for regular nannying/baby sitting/midwife support/maternity nurse until my business builds up and takes off. If i enjoy the role I would consider something more permanent if suited us both.

I have many years of experience in pregnancy care, labour and delivery and also postnatally. I have annually taken part in mandatory neonatal resuscitation training, and choking also.

I regularly nanny for full days and nights for my friends, their children range from 3 weeks old to 10 years. I also have nephews and a godson that I adore! I'm very reliable, punctual and trustworthy. I look forward to speaking with you soon hopefully!

I can also provide a Midwifery manager reference and five previous nannying/collegue testimonies on request.

Update - 15/10/16
I am currently maternity nursing overnight for a newborn baby girl, and I also look after her brother of 19 months.

Update 20/11/16
I now nanny for two young boys - for shifts of 12 hours. One of 8 months old - I am helping establish baby led weaning, aswell as working towards other developmental milestones at his parents' request. He also has a skin condition I manage daily. The older brother is coming up to 3 years of age. I also undertake cooking for the boys/family, cleaning, washing, trips out, running errands etc.

Update 02/05/17
My current nannying post as above is reducing as of June 2017 (the younger boy is starting nursery (now he's successfully caught up with his development under my care) so am looking for something similar - nannying/maternity nurse - days or nights.

Update July 2017
My two current posts have come to an end (nannying and also night nanny to a newborn baby boy) so am looking for a post to tide me over for the next couple of months. Night nannying/maternity nurse/mothers help/babysitting - all considered. considerable experience in all areas. Hopefully speak to you soon!

I have a wealth of experience and so ask for a fee increase accordingly - (For example, simple things such as knowing to stagger calpol/nurofen doses to optimise pain relief if needed - those pesky teeth perhaps! I recently picked up a baby I nanny for was dehydrated following illness by monitoring his fontanelles, and acted accordingly). Feel free to ask any questions, I will try to reply as soon as I can.
