About Me
We are a fun, quirky family living in Westgate on Sea near Margate.
We're a family of 4, with 2 girls aged 15 & 16. Both girls are ASD & ADHD with attachment anxiety.
My Requirements
I’m looking for a young woman closer to my daughter’s age (eg 17-27) to hang out with on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon for 3 hours. And ideally go on adventures with (she’s only really wanting to be at home atm, but is also bored!). Driving licence is essential.
I’m also looking for someone to take my eldest daughter every morning to school in Canterbury from Westgate, and some pick ups after school. Again, we need someone who is a younger woman.
We’re an adoptive family with additional needs so we are cautious about letting new people in. Reliability & dependability, are essential.
My youngest struggles to self-motivate and self/direct in trying new things - so lots of positivity, determination, understanding and creativity are needed. I’m struggling to help her and so coming with ideas are essential. She’s very direct with a quirky sense of humour too - a sense of humour to match - plus resilience helps!
I’d really love her to go on adventures too - so needs someone who has lots of ideas about things to do and places to go - and can inspire confidence in her to give it a go.
At the moment she’s interested in cooking and the Tv show supernatural, moose, dogs, animals, horses, stranger things.
My eldest daughter struggles to get in to school and so we need someone to help her. She’s in a school in Canterbury.

I have 2 teens with complex needs. My youngest is very reserved and doesn’t like new people. Verity came in and bonded with her immediately - despite my daughter’s resistance. As a result we’ve seen my daughter’s confidence grow and grow, and smile and laugh in a way we haven’t seen for a long while. Verity is incredibly reliable and conscientious, and has an energy and positivity about her that engages and connects with young people. I would highly recommend her to other families.

Emily was due to come and meet us at home. She didn't turn up or let us know she wasn't coming. I messaged and called and we haven't had a response. Very disappointing and frustrating.
