About Me

We are a loving adoptive family about to move to Brighton from July, with transition starting from April. It’s a big change and we need help from a kind, reliable young woman to be a friend and carer to my daughter.

She is 16, lovely and funny, but lonely and anxious with new people and environments. She loves animals - dogs and horses especially - and the TV shows Supernatural and Stranger Things.

She’s autistic, ADHD with attachment anxiety.

We need the support of a kind, reliable young women (17-30) to be a friends, build confidence and connections through transition, and offer reliable and consistent friendship going forward, as well as school run help from September.

Verity is fabulous and part of our family now!

I have 2 teens with complex needs. My youngest is very reserved and doesn’t like new people. Verity came in and bonded with her immediately - despite my daughter’s resistance. As a result we’ve seen my daughter’s confidence grow and grow, and smile and laugh in a way we haven’t seen for a long while. Verity is incredibly reliable and conscientious, and has an energy and positivity about her that engages and connects with young people. I would highly recommend her to other families.

Didn't turn up to a meeting

Emily was due to come and meet us at home. She didn't turn up or let us know she wasn't coming. I messaged and called and we haven't had a response. Very disappointing and frustrating.
