I have several years experience working with children and young people. I am available for evening and weekend babysitting in the Islington area.
I have spent two summers working as an au pair in Spain. I held a nanny position in London, taking three boys aged between 8 and 10 to school, preparing breakfast, uniforms etc. I also have experience in tutoring primary and secondary school children, and more recently, teaching geography and sociology to students aged 11-18.
I love cooking, being active and outdoors and going to live music shows. I enjoy meeting and getting to know new people from all different walks of life.
I have a full driving license and an enhanced DBS check.

My Experience
I spent 2 months au pairing for 3 girls in Tenerife, The Canary Islands and 2 months this summer caring for a five year old boy and seven year old girl in Barcelona. I developed great relationships with both families and have remained in touch since leaving. My duties included:
-Getting the children up and ready in the morning.
-Preparing snacks and lunch throughout the day
-Taking the children on excursions (swimming, club, park, museums, beach etc)
-Helping with homework
-Light housework
-Putting the children to bed
-Resolving any disagreements between them
I also volunteered as a tutor in English and Maths for primary school and GCSE students in schools around Sussex. This involved engaging with pupils and motivating them in their studies, whilst assisting them in learning and revising what they have been taught in lessons.
I volunteered as a language mentor for young refugees and asylum seekers, aged 11-25.
I also worked as a programme coordinator for an education charity in schools and am a qualified secondary school teacher, with experience working with students with SEND.
