About Me
Hello. We live a few minutes walk from New Malden train station and near a local park and playground. We have a son (Arthur) who is 8 and currently at Kings Oak Primary School and a daughter (Elsie) who is 5 and in reception at Corpus Christi. We’ve had a wonderful experience with a nanny before and know how important it is to find the right fit for you and for us. We’re a relaxed family looking for someone who is gentle and loving to pick our kids up from school and bring them to our home 1-4 evenings a week (ideally 3 or 4). We are happy to be flexible based on your availability.
My Requirements
We are looking for a nanny for Arthur and Elsie ideally from September (or earlier) for 1-4 afternoons a week term time only. The kids need to be collected from their schools at 3pm (Arthur) and 3.20pm (Elsie) and brought home for dinner/homework/play. You would need a car for the collection. We would consider anything from a 5-6pm finish time.
Arthur is a happy, gentle and engaging boy with an enormous sense of humour and a love of making others laugh. He is autistic which for him means he might need a bit more help than your typical 8-year-old. Elsie is a bubbly and creative 5-year-old who loves school, crafts and cats (we have 2)!

Showmi has been absolutely perfect for our son who has been with her for almost a year (from 10 months old). Showmi is extremely loving and nurturing and this really comes through in they way she cares for our son. She’s also very focused on learning and development and has tailored her approach to our son who has needed extra support in a few areas. She has always gone the extra mile to support him to reach his milestones and has made it fun along the way. I don’t think Arthur would have developed as well anywhere else or felt as at home. I am enormously grateful for all the love she gives to our son. She’s an exceptional childminder.
