About Me
I'm Bekky :) I'm a friendly, fun-loving and nurturing 29 year old. I am offering services, Nannying, Babysitting & Household help.
I am passionate about wellness and spending time in nature and would love to bring this side of myself into your childrens lives.
My focus is children’s health & wellbeing, with a passion for creating a safe container for them to relax and a fun positive environment to be creative and learn!
I love to help children learn about nature, ideally spending some time playing in parks, at the beach etc. and use their precious energy to help take care of the planet and allow them to explore & discover some new things and some new skills.
I also help teach mindfulness, yoga and meditation so they can be aware of their emotions, to help maintain happy and healthy children, physically and mentally :-)
I am happy to cook healthy meals, help with housekeeping, pet care and running errands.
I also have ample experience with Special Educational Needs.
I obtain a full clean driving licence (do not currently own a car) and have many excellent references available immediately!
I obtain an Enhanced DBS & Nanny Insurance .
My Experience
I have been babysitting & nannying for a number of families since October 2022.
I am insured and about to complete a paediatric first aid course. :)
I also study nutrition and holistic health & wellbeing and volunteer at a yoga studio.
Prior, I have 10 years experience within the health and social sector, including Special Educational Needs, within their homes and formal settings such as colleges, care homes and homeless shelters.
I relocated to Australia in 2019 where I changed my career path to work within hospitality for luxury resorts, giving me a range of experience within customer service, housekeeping, kids clubs and providing babysitting services.
I have completed a range of different courses from health & safety and food handling, to substance overdoses in the workplace and basic sign language. I also know basic first aid (although not certified yet). I have travelled extensively throughout my life and believe this has helped me to become even more aware of cultural diversity and become a more self reliant, resourceful and independent individual.
