My Requirements

We are looking for a well-organised, kind, flexible, fun & proactive part-time nanny with a can-do attitude for friendly household with two boys - 10 & 6 yrs old. We are offering 18-18.5 set MIN. hours work over two days per week, either on a Mon & Thur OR a Mon & Tues. If you have the odd Sat. morning or weekend available to help on the odd occasion, or the odd babysitting evening or overnight stay that would be great too. These extra freelance hours (booked in advance) allow for the odd bit of time bonding with kids when it's not school time, although there will be a chance to do this with the younger one after school some days. Duties include getting kids up for school, cooking meals, school runs, reading & homework & general school admin including keeping us abreast with school emails, organising clothes & toy drawers, bathtime, bedtime, tidying kids' areas, batch-cooking meals, baking bread, washing & ironing. Helping our kids with organisation & having the right bags, kit etc. in advance of each day/week is key. Our kids are v. imaginative, love building dens in garden, doing bonfires, dressing up, drawing & making things, playing footie & cricket in garden, so a nanny with some great ideas for fun activities to do locally or at home & someone happy to get stuck in - would be great. (This would mainly be after school or holidays.) My husband is a garden designer & I am a writer so work from home office sometimes. Some flexibility key as kid's schedule can change slightly each term & ours v slightly too. We live in a rural setting 17mins from Stamford, 12 mins from Bourne with a dog, cat & (outdoor) chickens. Must own a car & (ideally) ride a bike. Do get in contact if the job sounds suitable.
Ideally Mon & Thurs are wrap around MON: 7.30-11.30am, 3.30pm-8pm & THUR: 7-11am, 3.30pm-8pm AND Tues 7am-4pm, but SEP'26 will be same days, but may be slightly different times. Holidays, those hours are condensed so no wrap around on Mon/Thur.
