My Experience

I have over 27 years of professional experience working with children, with the majority of my career focused on Early Years and primary education.

As a qualified teacher, I have worked in a variety of educational settings, supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing. My experience includes Early Years education, teaching, private tuition, music education and individual support for children with SEND.

I have extensive experience working both one-to-one and with groups, and I adapt my approach to each child’s individual needs, abilities and interests. I particularly enjoy helping children develop their confidence, independence and curiosity through positive, engaging and achievable learning experiences.

Throughout my career, I have supported children with a wide range of abilities and additional needs. I understand that children learn and communicate in different ways, and I aim to provide a calm, patient and encouraging environment where each child can progress at their own pace.

Music and creativity have always been an important part of my work with children, and I enjoy incorporating these naturally into learning where appropriate.

My Qualifications

I am a qualified teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Kindergarten Teacher Diploma, with over 27 years of professional experience working with children, predominantly within Early Years and primary education.

My qualifications and professional training include:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Kindergarten Teacher Diploma
• Music teaching qualifications and training
• SEND training and extensive practical experience supporting children with additional needs
• Paediatric First Aid training
• Enhanced DBS check

I am committed to continuing professional development and regularly update my knowledge and skills.

My Availability

I am available Monday to Sunday, including before school, daytime, after school and evenings, subject to my existing teaching commitments. Please contact me to discuss your requirements and current availability.

My Fees

• Tutoring from £25.00 per hour
