Dear Families, thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. I am currently looking for a new job. I’m also available for occasional babysitting.
I'm an experienced teacher/nanny with more than 7 years of experience working with children of different ages. I am a hardworking, caring, patient person; loving, engaging and having fun with children.
Where I’m located:I’m based in New town, within walking distance areas such as Stockbridge or Bonnington, but happy to travel anywhere in Edinburgh.
My background: I finished my double university degree in early years and primary teaching. My native language is Spanish and I am fluent in English. I moved to Edinburgh in 2017 so I have my settled status already. I have been living in different parts of Edinburgh so I’m familiar with different areas of the city.
My interests: I like travelling and discovering new cities and countries, listening to music or watching Netflix. I try to have a healthy lifestyle, going for a walk or to the gym whenever I'm free.
My Experience
I worked as an au pair for two years living and looking after four 4 kids.
I also worked as a nursery practictioner and later on as a Preschool teacher in a nursery of edinburgh.
Currently I work as a nanny and Spanish teacher.
My Qualifications
I have a double university degree in early years and primary teaching. I also attended to my two years cours college in Spain based in early years education.
Finally, I have first aid knowledge, acquired during my college course and attending some courses while I worked in the nursery.

Cristina is a brilliant nanny. She's fun, engaging, loving and responsible. My children love her, and we know they are in safe hands when she's caring for them.
Not only does she look after my children, but she always gives her best to make my children enjoy and learn. I would highly recommend her. As a mother, I trust her completely with my children!

We came to Edinburgh for professional reasons with our six years old daughter, and Cristina agreed to take care of her on short notice. Our daughter had a lot of fun with Cristina who is a very serious, professional and trustable person. Highly recommended.
