About Me
Hi my name is Louise Compton.
I am a qualified nursery nurse who has worked as a childminder for the last 11 years. I am married to Dave who works as a head teacher, we have three beautiful children. we also have a friendly cat, two guinea pigs and a dog.
At present I am working out of Chalfont St Peters infant and juniors doing school runs.
Mother Goose Day Care is a safe, nurturing environment where children get personalised learning to meet individual needs. I take great pride in giving children the best possible care to help them grow into happy, confident and independent individual.
Your child would be involved in appropriate age and development activities using the EYFS guideline to structure my activity aims, for them throughout the day. Their learning journals are done on tapestry, which I give you a connection to, so you can look at them as and when you please. Your child will be able to play in a large garden which is fenced off for their safety. With a variety of outdoor toys to choose from and helping to grow own fruit and vegetables.
Indoors they have spacious rooms with full range of activities laid out and toys.
when not at home, outings consist of library, toddler group, park, bowling, soft play areas, farms, play dates with other childminders and many more.
You can rest assure that your child would be cared for, with kindness, respect and love. I always make time to listen to their concerns and news of their day with understanding.
Received Good in November 2018 & September 2015 from Ofsted.
(In October 2011 I had my first inspection which I was graded a Level 2- Good which you would be able to read through).
My Experience
As I mentioned previously I am a full time mum to three wonderful children.
I have worked in childcare for sixteen years, of which nine years has been childminding which I love doing.
Before, becoming a childminder I worked three years as a nanny for a family who had three children.
I also worked many years in nurseries in a variety of age ranged rooms which I worked as a nursery nurse, promoted to a nursery room leader then to a senior nursery nurse.

My Availability
I have availability before school and early years children.
Able to have a tutor come for group sessions upon request.
I am also available for school runs, I currently work out of Chalfont St. Peter's infants/juniors school.

We were put in a tight spot by a camp being cancelled at half-term and Louise came to the rescue. Our daughter was well looked after and she enjoyed Louise's care very much.

Thank you for your review, It was a pleasure having her.
My son (16months) started with Louise last year (Nov ‘22) and it’s been the best decision we made. After having a rocky start at a nursery I was so unsure what to do for childcare, but after meeting Louise all my worry’s were laid to rest.
From day one it’s been amazing care. Louise is so loving and attentive and really gets to know the children and understand them very quickly.
My son always goes in with a massive smile and never wants to leave which is a testament to how much he enjoys it. Louise is always doing fun activities in and out the house, and updates us with pictures regularly. We’re so happy with the progress our son has made since being with Louise. She really encourages learning and offers advice and support whenever I’ve been unsure about anything.
It’s home from home and I would highly recommend her setting to anyone.

Louise started looking after my 15 month old son back in January and has been so great with him!
He loves the time he spends at her house and interacting with the kids in her care. Louise's communication and level of activity provided is excellent - we are always getting pictures of him enjoying himself painting/playing/doing arts and crafts etc. It is such a comfort to know he is so happy and engaged whilst we are at work.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to other parents.

Louise was a Godsend! From the minute we entered her home for our initial meeting she put my mind at rest and welcomed our son with such warmth and care. Lovely clean house, fun filled and varied days and she cooks great food! He literally would have his shoes on waiting at the front door to go off to her house for the day. Furthermore her family are all lovely 😊
