My Experience

I have worked as a nanny/ au pair for over 10 years and also have 2 years nursery experience. I have lots of experience working in St Albans so have good knowledge of the area, classes and groups. I was previously working as a SEN teaching assistant in a primary school but am now focusing on my degree in psychology and counselling alongside some nannying. I have worked as a carer for the both the elderly and others who require assistance, so have experience across all spectrums of age and health.

My Qualifications

I have done several day/weekend courses mostly based on: health and safety, providing a fun but educational experience and creating a nurturing environment for children. I am fully first aid trained and have also worked as a tutor. I am also a very capable cook and have school level qualifications in food technology. I have also completed my level 3 in childcare and education, done a course on autism, a course on society and people and am currently in year 2 of a psychology and counselling degree. I can also apply to become Ofsted registered if the family wishes.

My Availability

I am looking for a part time nanny position or similar, and I am available immediately on Monday and Friday afternoons and most weekends.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
• Nannying from £17.00 per hour (net)

My rate is £17 net minimum per hour which is based on my experience and knowledge. This can of course vary depending on number of children, hours etc. and I pride myself on being flexible to people's circumstances so please message me with any questions.
