My Experience

I am passionate and attentive towards children whereby I would look after my friends children which then led me to think of parents that may have to go back to work and need childcare help. I do activities with the children to help their development rather than have them being in front of the tv and also as children are extremely energetic, I keep them active and stimulated which will in turn make bedtimes easier for yourself if they are kept busy. As I have my own car I wouldn't mind taking them to the park or other activities if required.

I have 6 years experience working as a support worker for young children which has given me experience on how to deal with challenging behaviours and the different strategies used to get the best out of your child.

I would be happy to do any house chores as I know working and having children can be a tricky one to juggle from being single handedly raised by my mother who worked full time so I'm fully flexible to what is required of me.

Additionally I worked in a school as a teaching assistant for two years with children ranging from the age of 5-10 which helped me understand the different ways that children learn which can in turn be replicated to your child. Using this experience in combination with the EYFS framework, I am confident that I can give your child the best start. As well as this, teaching children would be part of my job to watch them develop and flourish academically to prepare them to transition into school or the year ahead.

I have privately tutored a few children that have led them to receive a full scholarship at independent schools. I mainly focus on children aged 3-5, following the EYFS framework and key stages 1-4. Specialising in Maths and English. Studied both subjects to an A- Level degree.

My Qualifications

Enhanced DBS checked.
Pediatric first aid trained.
Level 3 Childminding course.
Level 2 Food safety in Childcare & Nurseries.
Introduction to EYFS framework.
Safeguarding young people.
In the process of becoming Ofsted registered- awaiting certification.

Most importantly hands on experience from being a mother myself, working as a support worker, being a childminder, private tutoring and working in a school as a teaching assistant.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
• Childminding from £7.00 per hour

My childminding rates are £7 per an hour as stated however for every additional child more fees apply per an hour depending on the age of the child.

If your child is 0-1 years it will be £12 p/h however if your child is 2 years old £9 p/h, and 3+ years £7 p/h.

If you're interested in 2+ children attending childcare, the eldest child comes at a sibling discounted rate.
For ages 1-2 - +£6 p/h
Over 3 - +£4.50 p/h

Minimum of three hours a day.

For full time contracts (mon-fri) that have been signed and returned there is a promotional offer of £10 per an hour for babies (0-1), £7 for toddlers (1-3) and £5 for children aged 3+.

I offer drop offs at an extra £5 daily rate.

I operate a pay before care policy and as such my fees are payable in advance, either weekly or monthly. There is an hour and a half minimum fee for before school (breakfast is supplied).There is also a minimum two hour fee after school (snacks ie toasties pizza sandwiches etc supplied).
