About Me
Hello, I am a patient, creative and kind graduate, who has a background working in preschools and schools. My qualifications include Level 3 Early Years Educator, 12-hr Paediatric First Aid and I am on the DBS update service.
I am currently employed as an afterschool nanny for two lovely families. I’ve worked for the first family for 2.5 years and collect the 3 children, aged from 10 to 15, from different schools. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know the 5-year-old child in the second family over the past year, but the dad’s shift pattern is changing and he will be able to do school runs, so sadly this job is ending. Consequently, I am available two days afterschool and some mornings.
I am able to support children of different ages (from early years to teens) with learning and school work, prepare healthy meals (and involve children) and have a car available for work. I like to keep children active and can plan trips to different venues, and support them with creative activities, reflecting their interests, in the home or garden. I’m animal-friendly and happy to provide pet care, if needed.
My Experience
Since 2013, I have been employed in preschools and primary schools, mainly 1:1 with children who have special needs. During this time, I have gained extensive experience of supporting children who have speech and language difficulties, particularly those who are on the autistic spectrum.
I have nearly three years experience as an afterschool nanny/babysitter and have enjoyed working for families with children aged from 3 to teens.

Jules has been working for us for a few months now and is an invaluable support to our family. We have three children aged 7-13 and she ferries them from school and to activities, feeds them healthy meals and arranges fun things to do in the evening and holidays. She is very trustworthy and calm and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her if you need someone to care for your child during the day or at the weekends or for babysitting.
