About Me
I am currently looking for additional weekday morning childcare work, alongside my existing afternoon nannying commitments with two local families (N10/Muswell Hill area). I am also available for private tuition and occasional weekend morning childcare on request.
I am a caring, reliable and friendly childcare professional with over 8 years of experience in both school and home settings. Having recently returned to the UK after teaching internationally, I genuinely love working with children and supporting their development through play, creativity and consistent routines.
I aim to create a calm, fun and nurturing environment where children feel safe, happy and confident. I also value building strong, open relationships with parents so we can work together to support each child’s individual needs.
My Experience
With 8 years of teaching experience in both the UK and internationally, alongside a degree in Child Development. This means I bring a strong understanding of early childhood education, particularly in early development, reading, phonics, and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). I combine professional knowledge with a warm, nurturing approach to childcare.
-Experience working in both mainstream and special educational needs (SEN) settings
-Worked across a wide range of age groups, from newborns to 16 years
-Qualified swimming instructor, offering additional activities for weekends and holidays
-Previous nannying and babysitting experience with multiple families
-Supported children’s learning and development through structured play, with a focus on early literacy and phonics
-Experience tutoring children, supporting academic progress in reading, maths and core learning skills
-Assisted with daily routines including meals, organisation, and general care
-Built strong, trusting relationships with families through reliable and consistent support
My Qualifications
I have :
- 2:1 bachelor degree in Education, Social Science with Geography
- PGCE in Primary Education
- QTS (qualified teacher status )
- Regular DBS check (on the update system)
- Safeguarding and first aid trained
- Qualified swimming coach
My Availability
I am currently available :
- Weekday mornings (pre-school prep/breakfast and school drop off/additional household help)
- Weekend mornings (private tutoring as additional, playing with them and taking them out)
My Fees
- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
