About Me

Hello, I'm Antonia, a mum of three and the registered childminder behind Little Daffodils Childcare.

Little Daffodils is a home-from-home setting where children can enjoy a slower pace of childhood, filled with play, nature, animals and everyday adventures.

Our days might involve collecting eggs from the chickens, exploring the orchard, splashing in puddles, visiting the woods, baking together or simply spending time outdoors noticing the world around us.

I am passionate about the early years and believe children learn best when they feel safe, secure and truly known. Building strong relationships with children and their families is at the heart of everything I do.

I am proud that Little Daffodils was recently recognised as Outstanding in all areas during a quality assurance visit, reflecting the care, dedication and high-quality experiences I strive to provide every day.

My Experience

As a mum of three, I bring both personal and professional experience to my role.

Before opening Little Daffodils, I worked in a nursery setting and as a personal assistant providing one-to-one support for a child. These experiences, alongside my own journey as a parent, have helped shape the caring, child-centred approach at the heart of my setting.

I regularly undertake training and professional development to further my knowledge and skills.

My Qualifications

I have a paediatric first aid qualification and I have completed training with my childminder agency. I’m a big CPD fan and take many other childcare related courses in my spare time
