We are looking for a carer for our children to work after school and possibly occasional weekends/school holidays
Our daughter is a very sociable, confident, happy 10 year-old with additional needs, she uses Signalong sign language and we can provide some training in this. She likes trampolines, painting, hats and Mr Tumble. She will be the main focus of the care but occasionally our 7 year-old son might also join in the fun. He is a communicative, inquisitive child who likes football, dancing, music and quizzes.
We're looking for a carer who can look after our children for 3 or 4 afternoons a week after school. We both work from home so will be nearby at all times. No experience in working with people with additional needs is necessary as we can provide training. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to gain experience working with a child with disabilities.

We employed Kate to look after our two children, one of whom has very complex special needs. Kate was an excellent nanny, a very caring and diligent carer for our children, very friendly and always thinking up great activities to do with the kids. Would highly recommend 👍

I can’t recommend Jordan highly enough. She has been working for our family since August 2020. We have a 7 year old daughter with complex medical needs as well physical and learning disabilities. We also have a 4 year old son. Jordan is excellent with both our children, she is extremely caring, conscientious, professional and, most importantly, fun! We have really appreciated how Jordan has been open to using our parenting approach with the children rather than coming with a ‘fixed’ way of working with children. She has supported our youngest with potty training and provides regular personal care to our daughter around bathing and toileting. Our kids adore her and she is very easy to have around the house. She is happy to do housework as needed. Our daughter has epilepsy and Jordan has undergone training (including a 2 day paediatric first aid course) in how to prevent and treat seizures including how to deal with a medical emergency. Our daughter has life threatening seizures and we trust Jordan with her sole care. Jordan is responsible for measuring and administering our daughter’s medication and is highly conscientious about such responsibilities. We moved recently which meant that the journey to our house increased to over 1 hour, so she reduced her hours with us so that she can find some additional work more local to her. The fact that Jordan has stayed with us despite the long car journey, demonstrates her commitment to our family and her love of the job. Any family would be lucky to have her.

In addition to all the fun and educational stuff, our daughter has epilepsy and so has some quite specific and important care needs which Georgie was able to manage brilliantly. We would definitely recommend Georgie as a Nanny.
