About Me
I am an extremely caring and trustworthy person who has dedicated their career to childcare. I have experience in a range of different roles in multiple settings such as private nurseries, schools and also sole charge Nanny roles. I am very patient and attentive and particularly enjoy creative activities with children of all ages whilst paying attention to their development needs as individuals, helping them to become happy and confident. I strive to help every child achieve and flourish in all that they do and encourage individuality and independence at every step.
My Experience
I have 18+ years experience and became qualified in 2011. I have worked with children and babies from newborn to teenagers and also have extensive experience working with twins. During my time in a Nursery setting, I worked my way upto management level and since then I have worked as a Nanny forming very good relationships with both the children and parents.
I have some basic knowledge of BSL and love incorporating this into early language skills. My most recent role was as a Nanny to 5 boys over 4 years with the youngest two being in my care from newborns.

Level 3 CACHE in Childcare and Education - July 2011
Level 1 Deaf awareness
Level 2 Food Hygiene
Paediatric First Aid Trained (12 hour course)

I am looking for a role with approx. 40hrs over 4 or 5 days.

We have known Lauren since our twin daughters were 4 months old! They are now 7 years old and Lauren still babysits for us on a regular basis! The girls love Lauren and I cannot think of a better person to whom I would trust the girls! Lauren is caring, loving, patient and always have a smile to share! Lauren is happy to stay in, take the girls out, cook for them and most importantly play!
Lauren is professional and a wonderful babysitter!

Lauren worked for us for 3 years looking after my 7 year old twins and 3 year old. Lauren was our very own Mary Poppins. My husband I are both teachers meaning Lauren was sole charge. One of my children was diagnosed at this point with ASD. Lauren took this in her stride and worked collaboratively with me to support him. Lauren was responsible for school runs, meals, running them to clubs afternoon playmates and managing the general chaos of a busy family home. Lauren became, and still is, one of the family. Lauren only left us when she was wanting nursery experience and mine were now all at school. Lauren would be an asset to any family.
