About Me

Hello!
I’m Kat and I am currently training as an Art Psychotherapist and looking for some adhoc evening and weekend work to fit around this. I started my career in childcare and creative therapies for children and adults with disabilities, before training as a children’s nurse. After qualifying I worked in safeguarding and then went into a few management roles before deciding to start my masters and train to be an Art Psychotherapist- which combines the two things I love, working with people and creativity! I enjoy being busy and getting stuck in!

My Experience

I am a trained children’s nurse and have worked in a range of settings (schools, pupil referral units, healthcare settings, early years setting and extra-circular clubs). I have additional qualifications in BSL, safeguarding, mental health care and first aid and would of course provide references for you and provide my DBS so you feel confident I’m safe working with your children.

My Qualifications

-Currently Studying MA Art Psychotherapy Practise
-Bsc in Children’s Nursing at Kings College London
-9 GCSE's (Grade A*-A) including maths and English
-6 AS Levels (Grade B)
-3 A2 Levels (Grade B)

My Availability

I am looking for work on evenings and weekends, I could do some occasional weekday work depending on my schedule at university and placement.
