Hi! My name is Laura, I'm 40 and have worked within childcare for 24 years. I have worked in day nurseries, a crèche, been a teaching assistant and a primary school teacher.
I have taught for 14 years and I am looking to come out of education and widen my life experiences through considering a nanny role.
I have an enhanced DBS check, have recently updated my safeguarding training and am fully vaccinated (Including my booster). Unfortunately I do not drive. I live in Cradley Heath in the B64 area.
My Experience
Upon completion of high school I went straight to college and received a BTEC in Early Years. From there I attended the university of Wolverhampton achieving a 2.1 BEd in Primary Education.
My Qualifications
I have a BTEC in Early Years (college) and a BEd in Primary Education (2.1 university degree). I've worked with children from 0-11 now for 20 years, however most of my experience is with 2- 7 year olds. I hold a current DBS, am first aid trained and hold many other teaching related certificates- safeguarding, etc.
