About Me

My name is Katie. I am an experienced Early Years Practitioner and qualified teacher in Bagshot, I offer a safe, nurturing environment Where children can reach their full potential through utilising my knowledge and skills. I aim to help children to develop a love of learning through play, reading books and having fun.

This will include developing phonological awareness, communication skills, mathematical skills just to name a few.

My aim is for the children in my care to feel safe, have fun and learn in a stimulating home environment. I encourage good manners, independence and consideration for others.

I follow the latest guidance on the curriculum from ‘Development Matters’ and ‘Birth to Five’ and provide a holistic approach to my care.

I keep parents up to date through regular discussions.

Reference from a previous parent:
“Katie has looked after Child A since Child A started school in September, she is a wonderful childminder. She provides a happy, welcoming setting with lots of varied activities, many of which help a child’s learning and development. Katie is organised and professional but also very caring and considerate to the children in her care, which was important to me. Child A always has a wonderful time with her!”

Reference from a current parents:

“Our little girl has been looked after by Katie since she was about 9 months old.
Katie has always been amazing and patient. What I really like about her is that she is teaching so many things to our little one. Katie doesn’t just look after her and feed her but we can see on a daily basis how much our daughter develops. They are always out and playing and learning and I feel 100% confident in Katie and I know she would look after our child just as she would look after her own.
I can’t express my thanks enough for Katie and everything she does.”
