My name is Petronella and I am 26 years old. I’ve always wanted to work with children and working in child care truly brings me joy. I am caring, patient, energetic and well organised individual. I enjoy helping children learn and develop while also having fun and encouraging children to to be independent.
My Experience
I started working in nurseries in 2014 as a Nursery Practitioner. In 2019 I moved to a different nursery setting where I worked with 1 year to 3 year olds as a Room Leader. In April 2021 I was promoted to Deputy Manager/ Room Leader. I have experience working with children from the ages of 3 months to 12 years.
I’m currently working as a full time nanny looking after twins aged 2 and their older sister aged 5.
I also have experience as a babysitter which I started doing in 2018, I babysit during the weekends and occasionally after work. I am currently babysitting for a foster career who is caring for 3 girls. I also babysit for parents from my previous nursery. My main role is to supervise the children , prepare dinner, indoor and outdoor activities, bath time and bedtime routine. Once the children are in bed, I begin house keeping duties which include, laundry, washing dishes, hoovering and mopping.
My Qualifications
I have completed my Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner (Early Years Educator). I have taken part in the following training courses:
