About Me

My name is Rosa, and I am an experienced childcare professional based in Maidenhead, Berkshire. I hold a Level 3 NVQ in Childcare, am a qualified driver with my own transport, and have over 20 years of experience working with children of all ages and abilities.

Throughout my career, I have worked as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school, supporting children in Early Years, Key Stage 1, and providing 1:1 support for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). For the past 9 years, I have also worked as an ABA Tutor, helping children develop essential skills and reach their individual goals.

I am a Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) and hold additional qualifications that support my work with SEN and ABA programmes. My passion lies in helping children and their families within a safe, caring, and nurturing environment. I find it incredibly rewarding to support children in building confidence, independence, and essential life skills.

My experience includes:

I am also available for babysitting. As a mother of a 3-year-old daughter and a 17-year-old daughter, I have extensive hands-on experience caring for children of different ages. Where suitable and agreed upon, I am happy to bring my 3-year-old daughter with me, and I am very experienced in caring for multiple children at once.

I am enthusiastic, hardworking, reliable, and highly organised, with excellent timekeeping skills. One of my greatest strengths is building positive partnerships with parents and creating a supportive environment where children can thrive. I am creative, energetic, and full of fun ideas, and I love outdoor play, messy activities, and hands-on learning experiences.

I speak fluent French and Sicilian. My family heritage is Sicilian and Belgian, and I enjoy sharing language and cultural experiences with children where appropriate.

Family is very important to me, and I spend much of my time with my daughters. I also volunteer at my younger daughter’s school, assisting with school trips, fetes, and events. In addition, I occasionally provide face painting and glitter tattoos for children’s parties and local community events.
