My Summary

My Experience

I currently work in a nursery school full time for the past 10 years working with children aged 2-5 years and caring for children with various special needs including; global delay, autism, sensory processing disorder and Down syndrome to help ensure they have an accessible and happy time. I have provided extended provision services breakfast and tea club throughout my time as an early years practitioner providing a variety of snacks and a sociable atmosphere for the children. Before working in the nursery setting I helped looked after two newborn twins for 6 months in their home with the daily routines; feeding, dressing, washing, helping them to learn, grow and explore safely. Also I have experience in a school environment with reception, year 1 and year 2 children (4-7 years). During the half terms I have also looked after children aged 2-8 in their own homes. I have accompanied children to forest school experiences and out for walks in the community i.e. Parks, library, local shops, post office etc... I also have my own child who is 2 years of age so I have experience dealing with everyday home life scenarios.

My Qualifications

Level 3 Diploma in childcare and education.
Level 2 first aid.
Level 2 food hygiene.
Basic British sign language training and developing knowledge of child friendly Makaton signs.
Portage workshop training completed. (SEN)
Various creative course and special needs training in NNSP focus visits.

My Availability

I am available all days during school holidays/half terms and during term time I am available some evenings and weekends. (My availability below is based on half terms/school holidays such as; Easter, 6 weeks holidays, Christmas, October half term, etc...)

My Fees

• Nannying from £10.00 per hour (gross)
