I am Rita, I am 32 years old and I am from Italy. I have worked as nanny for 10 years either in Italy and in London looking after children aged between 2 months and 10. In agreement with the parents, I have organized all the routines for the children (breakfast, lunch, dinner, bath, indoor and outdoor activities) plus giving Italian and English lessons. I have an Italian bachelor's degree in marketing and communication, enhanced dbs check, paediatric first aid, settled status and I can provide references. For a couple of year, I have worked as a teaching assistant in nurseries, primary and secondary schools supporting SEN students. I always enjoyed working with children, playing with them and organising the routine for them. I prefer being a point of reference and someone they can trust in. Also, I am always open to talk to children and explain things when they are right or wrong rather than saying yes or not without giving any reason or explanation. I try to make the "boring things" into a game but at the same time I know when it is time to be a little bit more strict. In this job, what really makes me happy is building a good relationship either with the parents and with kids, it is so satisfying when the families appreciate my job and the kids are grateful.
