Hi there!
We are a husband and wife team who offer babysitting and tutoring. Michael, my husband, is a fully qualified primary school teacher, and I am qualified in Early Years and Childcare. We are both DBS checked and First Aid trained. We are non-smokers and I hold a full clean driving licence.
We have four children and their ages are 18 16, 4 years and lastly, 2 years old. We have home educated our older two for the past 7 years and plan on doing the same with our younger two when the time comes!
We love living in Cornwall and get out and about enjoying the coastline as much as we can!

My Experience
I have worked with children since I was 18. I have worked with all ages, from babies up to 16 year olds.
I started off working in nurseries in 2003 then had my own two children (2005 and 2007), before returning to work in another nursery and a pre-school.
I have since worked as a 1:1 teaching assistant before giving up work to home educate both my older children which I thoroughly enjoy!
Michael has a vast experience of working with primary aged children.
My Qualifications
I currently hold an NVQ2 and an NVQ3 in Early Years and Childcare.
I have also taken numerous online safeguarding courses, due to the nature of previous jobs.
We're both on the DBS update service and our certificate numbers can be given for parents to check.
My Availability
Although we home educate, we can try and be flexible with daytime hours if needed. My forte is EYFS/KS1 and ideally would love to help out a child in that age bracket with their learning with every day activities and general learning through play.
Michael's forte is KS2 but has also worked with other ages. We both have experience of working with SEN.
We have availability during the holidays if required.
