I’m 33 years old and I’ve lived and worked in south Cambridgeshire/West Suffolk all of my life.
My hobbies include being outdoors and spending time with my husband and 3 children, especially at the coast. We love walking and going on adventures. My biggest passion is baking and cooking and i can usually be found in the kitchen!
My Experience
I have nannied for overs 12yrs and spent 4 additional years in other forms of childcare such as day nurseries. Most of my experience is with newborns, young babies and twins although I’ve worked with children up to the age of 16. I also have 3 amazing children of my own (born Aug. 2017, Nov. 2019 and Nov. 2022) so have a full understanding of sleepless nights, mummy guilt and all the other tough things that come with parenthood!
I have been in various positions including live in nanny, maternity nurse, night nanny, PA/housekeeper; I can be very versatile.
I am also a Doula and have so much passion for supporting women through pregnancy, birth and beyond. I love working with mothers at home, it’s really important to me to build a close relationship and support a family in their wishes.
My Qualifications
I have an NVQ3 in Childcare, Development and Learning, and am partway through a BscHons in Childhood and Youth Studies. I’m fully insured and also have relevant paediatric first aid qualifications and a full up to date DBS check on the update service.
I am a breastfeeding counsellor and have attended many courses in birth and newborn support including sleep consultancy and attachment style parenting.
My Availability
I am looking to join a family and stay with them for several years to really build up a strong relationship. My ideal would be to work shorter days so that I can still take my own children to school, however this is completely negotiable for the right family and there are definitely ways to make it work for everyone.
I am also happy to cover adhoc, on a short term basis if that would be helpful.
