My name is Taylor and I am a previous school teacher, therapy dog practitioner, and tutor who is looking for permanent, part-time childcare work.
I have a degree in Elementary Education and have been working with children for my whole career.
I am passionate about the outdoors, cultivating calming and mindful child-led activities, and exposing children to language, new experiences, and allowing kids to be kids!
I follow a gentle-parenting and Scandi parenting approach at home with my own little one who is currently in an outdoor nursery setting.
I would love to find a permanent, part-time role with a local family that we can learn, grow, and explore together!
I am DBS checked and have just been recently certified in Emergency First Aid through St John Ambulance Service. I have a full driving license and love animals, too.

I highly recommend Taylor as a babysitter/nanny. I hired Taylor to babysit my 2 year old daughter part-time on a short term basis (3 full days a week for a month) when I was heavily pregnant and needed extra support. Taylor organised lots of fun things for my daughter and herself to do to keep her occupied, happy and out of the house while I was on bed rest at home. Everything she organised was perfectly age appropriate and she chose things to do that she knew my daughter would personally enjoy doing. She was very reliable and punctual, always arrived on time each morning and always offered to help out on other days as well if it was needed, to offer some more support. She was very trustworthy and responsible with my daughter - always making sure she had suncream on, making sure she ate all her lunch and drank enough through the day etc. She respected any requests/rules/boundaries I had around my daughter’s routine and general care. She made me feel completely relaxed and reassured that my daughter was safe and happy in her care and she genuinely cared about her. I was able to properly relax at home on bed rest without worrying.
Taylor built a genuine friendship and bond with my daughter in such a short amount of time and we feel we have made a friend for life so we will definitely be hiring her again at some point in the future when needed.
