Hi everyone!
My name is Bethanie, I am a 27 year old Nursery Deputy Manager qualified with an undergraduate degree in Early Years. I am currently looking for part time babysitting.
I am First Aid trained, have an up to date DBS and currently work closely with children from 4 months to 4 years of age.
I am a nurturing, reliable, trust worthy individual with great punctuality and communication skills who enjoys staying organised. I am also very understanding towards children and their parents, and I am able to fulfil the needs of the family as a whole as I have great experience working with a range of children and families who have diverse needs and preferences, within one setting which I ensure I cater for consistently through my practice.
Looking after, playing with and helping children develop is my passion! I enjoy doing arts and crafts, outdoor activities as well as cooking and baking!
Through my experience working as a Deputy Manager, and through my knowledge gained from studying for my degree, I have discovered and put into practice many ways of engaging with children through different modes of play to stimulate development in all key areas.

My Experience
During the summer of 2011 I completed work experience in Asquith Day Nursery for 5 days a week, for 2 weeks. I also completed work experience in First Steps Day Nursery in January 2015 - July 2015, whilst studying Health and Social Care level 3. Both of which I greatly enjoyed!
After completion of my Undergraduate degree I was promoted from my Early Years Practitioner role to my current role as a Deputy Manager, where I work closely with children aged 4 months to 2 years, as well as working with children up to the age of 4, as I plan for various creative activities on a daily basis to work on all areas of their development as well as creating a structure for the day.
My Qualifications
11 GCSE’s grades A-C, including Maths and English
Health and Social Care Level 3 Diploma – awarded: Distinction, Distinction

My Availability
I am available from Monday to Friday all day, including during the school holidays. I am also available on Saturdays for babysitting.
