My Requirements

We are looking for a fun, dynamic, caring individual to help care for our beautiful and loving son Teddie. Teddie is 3 living with a suspected neuro genetic disorder. He is unable to talk but certainly finds his own ways to communicate. Teddie is unable to walk but is able to crawl (very fast). Teddie is a wheelchair user when out and about. Although Teddie is now able to manage a puréed diet orally, he still requires his medications and fluids to be given via a gastrostomy. Teddie is part of a loving, but very tired family in Meols. We're looking for a carer/nanny/childminder to start as soon as possible for our son Teddie.

*SEN experience preferable

*First aid training required

*Childcare qualifications required

*Ofsted registered if nanny/childminder

*Pick up from pre school during weekdays (Mon,Wed, Thur & Fri 16.30-17.45) and school holidays (full days approximately from 08.00-17.45 depending on shift work)

*Previous experience preferred but not essential

*You must be confident in gastrostomy care to give medications and fluids, training will be provided if required

*Giving personal care, bathing

*Taking Teddie out during the school holidays literally anywhere he fancies. He loves to be outdoors

*DRIVING LICENSE AND CAR ESSENTIAL TO COLLECT FROM PRE SCHOOL, AND TO BE ABLE TO FIT WHEELCHAIR INTO BOOT?

*YOU MUST BE RELIABLE

*Enhanced DBS checked preferable

We need to find the right fit for Teddie. He needs someone fun and outgoing but able to deal with his medical/care needs. They need to be able to work within our home around my eldest son if he is around.
