Hi,
I am a 31 year old Account Manager working in Marketing in Leeds. I have actually had this account since I was 24 as I’ve always enjoyed caring for children outside of my day job however, I had a 3 year old of my own so this took a back seat. Sadly, I have found myself in a redundancy position working my marketing role which has led me to reignite my passion for working with children. I am a fun loving, enthusiastic person who likes to keep fit and loves music. I’d love to have a chat and see how I can help you and your family.
My Experience
Before my toddler came along I got all of my experience from having 7 siblings ranging from 8-18 years younger than me! Of course now I’ve had the most valuable hands on experience since becoming a mother too!
Back in 2015 I worked as an Au Pair in Barcelona for the summer, looking after four children aged 14 months, 4, 7 and 9. The eldest was also diagnosed with ADHD meaning my skill set was broadened and we really learnt off each other.
When I was at university I worked at a Leeds based summer camp called Camp Xplode which provided children with care and activities throughout the school holidays from 8am - 6pm.
In addition to my working experiences with children in May 2017 I had a response to an ad and began childminding for a three year old girl regularly. This consisted of taking charge of her bed time routine (food, bath, story, bed) and I still looked after her over a year later. I am more than happy to provide a reference or put you in touch with the family.
My Qualifications
I have completed a pedeatric first aid course in 2014 and my most recent First aid course in 2017. Whilst both are now expired, having my own child has meant I’ve stayed up to date with all training, albeit without the official renewal of my certification.
Education: First Class Degree BA Media and Marketing
I have also completed various hospitality qualifications, such as Health and Safety in the Kitchen.
My Availability
Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm
I could consider Friday’s if you were happy for me to be caring for my daughter at the same time.
I could consider the occasional evenings or weekends with prior arrangement
