My Summary
About Me
Hi, I’m Nikesha! I’m an experienced, caring and reliable childcare professional with over 8 years of nannying experience, as well as experience working within primary schools, supporting children with SEN and working as a part-time childminding assistant for 5 years.
Throughout my childcare career, I’ve had the pleasure of caring for children of a wide range of ages, backgrounds and individual needs. I’m confident adapting to different family routines and parenting styles, and I aim to provide a warm, safe and nurturing environment where children can feel comfortable, happy and supported.
I’m also a mum to my 10-month-old daughter, who would accompany me while I work. Because of this, I’m looking for a welcoming family who is happy with this arrangement and can offer some flexibility. In return, I’m very flexible myself and would love to find a family where we can build a trusting, open and comfortable relationship.
I’m naturally patient, attentive and hands-on, and I enjoy planning age-appropriate activities, getting out and about with the children and supporting their learning and development through everyday play and experiences.
I’m currently open to finding the right family and would be happy to discuss your childcare needs, routine and what arrangement would work best for us both.
My Experience
I have over 8 years of experience working as a nanny and 5 years of experience as a part-time childminding assistant. I have cared for children of a wide range of ages, from babies through to school-aged children, and have worked with families from many different backgrounds.
I also have experience working within primary schools, including supporting children with SEN and additional needs. This has given me valuable experience in adapting activities, routines and my approach to suit each child’s individual needs and development.
Throughout my nannying roles, I have been responsible for day-to-day care, preparing meals, school and nursery drop-offs and collections, organising activities and outings, supporting homework and learning, maintaining routines and providing a safe, nurturing environment.
I’m confident caring for multiple children and adapting to different family routines and parenting styles. I’m reliable, patient, caring and flexible, and building a trusting relationship with both the children and their parents has always been very important to me.
My Qualifications
I hold a current First Aid qualification and have a DBS check.
I studied Health & Social Care at sixth form and continued my studies at university.
Alongside my qualifications, I have extensive practical experience gained through over 8 years of nannying, 5 years as a childminding assistant, working within primary schools and supporting children with SEN.
Through my training and professional experience, I have developed a strong understanding of safeguarding, child development, individual needs and providing safe, nurturing and age-appropriate care.
My Availability
I am currently available for regular childcare on:
Monday: 2pm – 9pm
Tuesday: 2pm – 9pm
Wednesday: 2pm – 9pm
I can be flexible with my hours where needed and may also be available for occasional/ad-hoc babysitting outside of these times with prior notice.

Nikesha helped us in most difficult time, while we moved to our new house and couldn’t bring our boy to school. We’ve been extremely lucky to find her as our-really shy -boy, accepted her straight away!
Very punctual and polite always willing to help. On the top she has got her own car which was a bonus -regarding to our boy.
Once again -big thank you Nikesha for helping us for entire 6 months xxx
