About Me
I am Ofsted registered currently as a childminder, but stopped due to moving up to St Ives. Now considering going back to a Nannying and/or housekeeping role. Also a qualified Nursery Nurse with over 30 years childcare experience, DBS checked and Paediatric First Aid trained. I have worked with children since leaving schooI and have 3 grown up children of my own. I love animals, cooking, reading, travelling, swimming, cycling and spending lots of time with my family and friends.
My Experience
I have over 30 years experience looking after children from new born through to 17yrs. Working in day nurseries, a baby unit as a deputy manager, working in a school, Boarding House Tutor, Childminder, babysitter and as a Nanny.
I can provide many excellent references.
My Qualifications
I studied childcare at school, then trained full time at college for two years, gaining the NNEB qualification in childcare. I also completed the Childminding course through Pacey and gained the Childminding qualification too. I am Ofsted registered, hold a paediatric first aid certficate, food hygiene certificate and safeguarding. I am DBS checked.
