About Me
I am a registered childminder in the Bradshaw area. I’m a calm, patient, fun and caring person.
We are moving away from the plastic toys and we’re working on using natural and everyday resources.
I am working towards my Curiosity Approach accreditation starting in January. And I am also doing a course in Hygge. ?
Abit about this way of working
Hygge is a cosy and calm approach. It’s about creating a warm calm environment with a slower pace.
The curiosity approach aims to give children back their freedom by igniting their natural curiosity and imagination. When adopting this teaching method, children are able to think for themselves, make their own choices, and direct their own learning.
I am aiming to create a home from home environment, with a slower pace for your little ones. Most resources will always be within easy access so your little ones can choose what they would like to do with their time here. There is never more than 3/4 children here at any time so I can give more focus on what your little one enjoys doing. We also will be getting out into nature for walks in the arboretum directly across the road from us.
In the next few weeks I will be creating a home corner with authentic dressing up box, play kitchen and baby corner.

My Experience
I have lots of childcare experience with having my own children and also working as a childminding assistant previously. I have completed my training to a high standard and will be ensuring I help your child teach their full potential.
I am currently studying Hygge in the early years 0-3
And will be working towards my curiosity approach accreditation starting in January.
My Qualifications
I have a DBS , safeguarding certificate, paediatric first aid certificate and childminder registration certificate. I will also be completing regular CPD and training to make sure I keep my knowledge fresh and up to day
