I hold a degree in Children’s Development and am fully qualified with all relevant and up-to-date certifications, including DBS, Paediatric First Aid, and Food Hygiene. I am confident in providing safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care tailored to each child’s individual needs.
I am reliable, caring, and passionate about supporting children’s wellbeing and development. I also have my own car with a clean driving licence, allowing flexibility for school runs, activities, and outings. I am seeking extra nanny work and would be happy to discuss how I can support your family.
My Experience
I have over 16 years of professional childcare experience, having worked in a private day nursery throughout my career and currently holding the position of Deputy Manager. My role involves leading practice, supporting staff, and ensuring high-quality care and safeguarding for all children in line with EYFS requirements.
I have extensive hands-on experience caring for children from newborn babies through to teenage years, including feeding routines, sleep support, weaning, toilet training, and supporting children through key developmental milestones. I am highly experienced in promoting children’s social, emotional, and physical development through play-based, child-centred approaches.
Alongside my professional role, I am also a parent, which has further strengthened my understanding of children’s needs and family dynamics. I am confident working independently as a nanny, building trusting relationships with families, and providing consistent, nurturing, and safe care tailored to each child.
My Qualifications
• Level 6 qualification in Childcare
• BA (Hons) Degree in Children’s Development
• Paediatric First Aid (up to date)
My Availability
I have flexible availability and am currently free on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, as well as evenings and weekends. I am happy to discuss regular or ad-hoc arrangements to suit your family’s needs.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
- Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)
