About Me
registered with ofsted childminder. My mother and grandmother are both childminders so always been around children my whole life. Fully registered and up to date with all the relevant training. I hold memberships to many places locally in which i take the children. We go on outings to local parks and often join activities with other local childminders.
My Experience
I have been childminding for 8 years. I’ve also Been brought up in a childminding environment as mother and grandmother are both childminders. I also have my own children. I also now hold a degree with module experience in the early years sector

My Availability
Work all year round other than bank holidays weekends and the week or two between Christmas and new year. I CURRENTLY HAVE VACANCIES!

My 2 year old has been with Kia for a month now and is absolutely loving it and thriving! She comes home and tells me about her day and what fun she has had with Kia, and asks me every single day when she’s going to her house again next. Kia is absolutely amazing with her and she’s managed to enjoy lovely new experiences with her, like her first zoo trip. Kia goes above and beyond for my little girl and we’ve even decided now even when she does start preschool, to keep her with Kia until she goes to school as well, due to the lovely bond she has with her. Thank you so much Kia xx

Kia looked after our little girl from the age of 8 months to 18 months. She always seemed happy and comfortable with Kia, which gave us great peace of mind. Kia’s setting is secure and relaxed, and she takes the children to local farms and parks etc. too, which was great. Kia was also really flexible when we had to change pick-up or drop-off times, as well as doing a few ad hoc days for us (providing she had capacity). I would recommend Kia to anyone looking for a friendly and experienced childminder.

My daughter has been going to Kia, who provides a fun but calm family home environment, from the age of 2 until she starts pre-school in September. Kia is very calm and friendly, my daughter enjoys spending time with Kia and her family and always talks about them fondly. I have found Kia to be very flexible and accomodating of short notice requests and last minute changes, which is appealing to me when looking for chilcare. Plus an advantage of using Kia is both her mother and grandmother (live locally) are childminders so they (and the children they care for) provide another level of interaction for my daughter and she often talks about them fondly too.
