My Experience

I currently work with children for speech and language therapy and I am currently training to become a speech therapist. I have experience of working in schools with children to work on their speech. I previously worked as a 1-1 teaching assistant. I worked full time 1-1 with a child with autism but also supported children in the class. Prior to this role, I worked as an online English teacher for Chinese students, for this role I taught and supported the children on a one-to-one basis to learn English.
During my university studies, I worked for a family in Sheffield babysitting their children. I worked for this family for around 3 to 4 years before moving back to Barnsley. During this role, I collected the children from school to care for them in the evenings. I helped the children with homework and extra reading and development. I planned various activities for the children and took the children out on day trips during the school holidays.

My Qualifications

I have a masters degree in developmental psychology and a degree in childhood studies. I have a level 3 diploma in Childcare. And I am registered with Ofstead with my DBS as I previously worked for a childminder

My Availability

I am currently available for many evenings, all day Thursdays and on the weekends

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour

Normally £12 per hour but can be flexible.
