We will be forever grateful for the day we found Michelle. Our childminder at the time was closing and we only had a month to find a replacement. Thankfully, as soon as we met her, we knew she was right for us and our daughter. She is calm, kind, professional and organised. She provides a caring and safe 'home from home' environment. She has a lovely home and secure garden for the children to play. She has two dogs who soon became our daughter’s furry friends. Michelle would often send us photos of them cuddled up on the sofa together.
Michelle kept us updated via messages and photos of the children's activities each day. They included home baking, arts and crafts, various trips out to the library, local park, picnics at Fairlands valley, fruit picking, Standalone farm, museums and soft play to name a few. Michelle goes above and beyond in everything she does. She provides healthy snacks, lunch and a home cooked dinner every day. She will even wash and clean the children’s clothes and keep a clean set at hers in case of any accidents.
Michelle is flexible and accommodating wherever possible. She also looked after our son during the school holidays and even collected and dropped off our daughter occasionally when we had car problems. Michelle will drop off and collect from Round Diamond primary school for those that may need it. Our daughter was able to draw, colour in, hold a pencil correctly and write her name all before turning 4. I truly believe this was testament to Michelle and her patience and dedication to helping children learn and develop confidently whilst in her care.
Our daughter has now left Michelle’s and moved on to school nursery. However, she often tells me that she misses Michelle and the friends she made. Depending on capacity, we still have the option to send our children to Michelle in the school holidays which we are extremely grateful for. I asked our daughter what she would like to say about Michelle and without prompting she said ‘I love her’ … that says it all!! We truly can’t recommend her enough!
