About Me
Mum to boisterous 7-year old boy and a girl-sterous 5-yr old girl
My Requirements
2 siblings that play and argue all day would like to meet you.
This is a long-term requirement for an au pair/live-in nanny/mother's help by a foreign family in Ely . Flexible on hours and days. 30-50 hours a week. Live-in or live-out possible.
I also require housekeepkng support - cleaning, washing, ironing etc Please contact me if you can meet any / both of these requirements.
As children are in school, the person could study, work another job, or go home to her hobbies and life from 9am - 4pm daily. A nanny would work split shifts. An au pair would have the afternoon to herself.
We like to be outdoors. We're not technology-crazy (limited screen time). We like food. We like learning. We love Jesus. All our former nannies are still in touch and visit.

Having had lots of experience with children, Sophie is playful and easygoing.
She was punctual and kept the children engaged from beginning to end.
She was emotionally intelligent and talked with my child about the changes he would face when starting school.
She was easy-going, open and honest.
She was flexible and helpful, offering to help with some housekeeping tasks when my children were occupied.
She was firm when my child did not keep to the rules.
She was generally helpful and resourceful, connecting my family with people and helpful information we needed.

Charlene has a mysterious profile photo. Do NOT let that put you off as it initially did me. She is an absolute gem with children.
Better than punctual, Charlene was early.
Charlene is warm and friendly and my child took to her quickly and they had hours of fun together.
Charlene was also flexible with my requirements when I needed to a location change. She was attentive and perceptive and offered a healthy snack, a nap or a walk outside as she saw the child's needs changed. She had a variety of tools to keep the child engaged and happy. She didn't constantly check her phone.

Amelia arrived promptly and was as pleasant as she was professional.
My son took to her immediately and the whole experience was very good.

On the phone, Claudia was lovely and warm and sounded like the sort of person that would be able to entertain my son in hospital while I went in for consultations.
A few minutes to the time, she called to apologise for double booking. She said she would send a friend as a replacement. This person was alright, but probably not the sort that can get the reviews that Claudia has.

Dear Davesmom, I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. It was midnight when you booked me for the next day at 8am. I was really tired and by mistake I booked you over another babysitting. I took responsibility for my mistake and did not let you down. I woke up at 6 am and got you a fried to help you. The most important is that I helped you even though I had never done babysitting for you before. I try my best to help people and I absolutely love my jobs. 1 star is to low for the amount of work and stress this made me pass through to help you out. In the end I'm happy that everything went alright.
