My Summary
Looking For A Full-Time Nanny Job
About Me
I’m a warm, dependable, and experienced nanny with over seven years of hands-on childcare experience, supporting children from newborns to teenagers, including those with special educational needs. I take a calm, structured, and creative approach to caregiving—balancing routine with play, and always putting each child's emotional and developmental needs at the centre of my work.
Currently, I'm completing a part-time Master's in Psychology of Education at UCL (just one evening per week), which enhances my understanding of child development and behaviour. My long-term goal is to continue building a career as a full-time professional nanny, working closely with families to create nurturing, happy, and well-organised home environments where children thrive.
My Experience
With over seven years of hands-on childcare experience, I have supported children from newborns to teenagers in both private home settings and educational environments. My background includes full-time nannying, special needs caregiving, and volunteer teaching support. I’ve worked with families of various sizes, managed busy household routines, and provided nurturing, development-focused care that encourages emotional, social, and cognitive growth.
I have particular experience with:
Newborn and infant care: feeding, sleep routines, weaning
Special needs support: autism, global developmental delay, ADHD
School-aged care: homework help, school runs, structured play
Household support: children's laundry, tidying, light meal prep
Creative engagement: arts and crafts, outdoor play, sensory activities
Currently, I'm studying for a part-time MSc in Psychology of Education at UCL (1 evening per week from January 2026 to March 2026), which complements my practical experience with academic insight into child development and behaviour. I'm committed to continuing my career as a full-time nanny, bringing empathy, professionalism, and creativity to every family I support.

Sophie came into our home and immediately connected with both our boys. She was engaged in their activities and managed to happily get them off of their devices! Well done Sophie! She went the extra mile and when we arrived home she had gotten them into bed and was reading to them. Very happy with the care that Sophie provided our family.

Sophie left us down via a text sent 5 minutes before the scheduled start. Allegedly a covid test she was waiting for turned out to be positive. She never mentioned any chance of covid when she agreed to care for our two toddlers. Utterly unreliable. Would absolutely not recommend

I am genuinely very sorry, I had covid and didn’t want to contaminate you’re family and wanted to be honest. I feel upset that something out of my control has made you have such a negative view of me. This is the first time I have had a bad review.
