My name is Jessica, I am 28 and live in the Bromley area. I hold a full UK driving licence and have been driving for over 6 years.
I am currently a deputy nursery manager for a private day nursery Monday-Feiday 9am till 6pm.
I have recently begun searching for nannying jobs as I would love to be able to use my childcare knowledge and experience to help families.
I am a hard working and committed individual who follows tasks to the best of my ability with a positive and happy approach to life.
I have worked in childcare since I was 14, through volunteering at a local preschool to gaining my level 3 qualification in child care at college where i gained a further 800 hours of work experience across 4 different settings including baby, nursery, primary school and also in a special needs unit.
I can work weekends only and week day evenings.
My Experience
I am level 3 qualified in Children's Care, Learning and Development and have over 800 hours work experience in 4 different childcare sectors, including; working with babies, working with nursery age, working within a school as well as working in a special needs unit.
I gained this experience whilst studying for my level 3 qualification. After obtaining this i went on to university to study Psychology of which I focused part of my degree on child psychology. I then finished my degree gaining a 2:1 and decided to work in a nursery of which i became Supervisor of a nursery aged room (2.5 years - 3.5 years) leading a team of 6 and ensuring the highest quality of care for a room of up to 24 children.
I have also baby sat on weekends and of an evening for previous parents in the past.
My Qualifications
Level 3 qualified. First aid trained. DBS checked.
