About Me

Passionate caring individual who has a particular interest in Newborn care and children with special needs but I also have vast amounts of experience with children 0-18 having not only raised my children but also working with children for the last 20yrs

My Experience

I have experience with children predominantly in a hospital setting but I have also
gained experience in a home and social care setting. I have acquired many skills
during this time, especially with people dealing with being first time parents and
how to navigate and establish a routine with a newborn.
Complex care is also an area I have vast amounts of knowledge and involvement in. I am able to efficiently care and manage many different conditions such as Cerebral palsy, Tracheostomy and epilepsy.
I have also looked after well children, babysitting for friends and family and also bringing up my own 2 children who are now 29yr/24yr
I currently nanny for a family with 3 school age children and love my role!, sadly this role will be ending at the end of September 2025 after 7 years.
I am a fast thinking, time efficient person that gives 100% to families/children at
all times. A conscientious worker, my aim is to fulfil my duties to the best of my
abilities, with the focus being on the wellbeing of the child/ren. I am enthusiastic,
friendly and approachable but above all I am able to communicate effectively,
involving the family every step of the way in their child/ren's care.
