About Me
I started my studies inspired by my own nursery nurse, I loved how she created a loving, nuturing and fun space for the little ones (I used to see her regulary for my first 12 years). I hold an NVQ Level 4 in Childcare, as well as a Paediatric First Aid and DBS (Update service). I have 10 years of experience of working as a nanny and in nursery settings with babies and children under 6 years old. My interest in a holistic education has driven me to do courses and travel to different countries to experience different ways of educating. I am interested in an aproach with a mix of Pikler, Waldorf, Reggio Emilia, Montessori, NVC, Rebeca Wild, Gentle parenting, aware parenting and Hand in Hand parenting mainly.
I enjoy taking care of children and I have a warm and patient manner. I offer presence, safety and empathy. I like encouraging each child to follow their inner wisdom and achieve their maximum potential.
I am also a Postnatal Doula, I support families to welcome their little ones into the world.

My Experience
I have worked with early years as a nanny and in nurseries for 10 years.
I have done volunteer work with the scouts and guides (3 years with the ages 5-7 and 8-10).
I have been in a NGO in Senegal for two summers doing activities for children during 3 weeks (ages 3-11).
I have worked in different nurseries in Spain and UK.
I am currently working as a nanny/babystitter and offering postnatal support in the area.

Marta has been looking after our two-year-old daughter for almost a year. She is calm, caring, thoughtful and fun, with lots of great ideas for activities and willingness to play, and our daughter loves her. She is reliable and takes the time and care to work with us to support our daughter in a really holistic way, and she is clearly very passionate and knowledgeable about child development and early years learning. She is a wonderful nanny and I would highly recommend her to anyone.
