About Me
I am 42 years old and currently work as a full time live in nanny/Housekeeper. I am looking for a full or part time (3 - 4 days per week) Nanning position. I currently work anything from 48 hours up to 70 hours a week including Adhoc. I would describe myself as a fun loving person who works very hard and is very dedicated to her role as being a nanny. I enjoy cooking, arranging activities for the children, having a structured and consistant weekly plan. and keeping busy!
My Experience
I feel that having my own daughter is probably the best experience you can have! but further to that I have trained in child care and have nannied since I was 17 years old for all ages of children. I have also worked in primary schools and secondary schools in the last 10 years. I feel i can offer the love and security with any child/family and am honest and very reliable. I am a good cook and understand that a balanced heathy diet is important. I have also nannied and worked with children with Dyslexia, and ADHD and am fully trained with in these behavioural and educational disabilities.
In my current position I look after two children aged 6 and 9years, one who is on the Autistic spectrum and attends a special school specifically for his needs. This can be very challenging at times but a well structured and organised week helps with his difficulties.
I also keep a run of the house (mainly during term time) and the family diary and take care of the family dog - walks, vets and groomers.
I cook for the whole family when they are here and often batch cook to freeze. I keep on top of the children's laundry and bed room tidying, help with homework and arrange play dates and other activities.
I also take care of booking plumbers, electricians, gardens etc, deliver and collect dry cleaning/parcels, and any other PA work that they may need covering.
My Qualifications
BTEC National Diploma in Child Care
Ba Hons 2 years completed of a Social work Degree.
ST Johns Ambulace First Aid
Training in Autism
Training in ADHD
Training With the Dyslexic Child.
Working with the hearing impaired pupil in mainstream schools
Food and hygiene certificate
Level 2 Training for teaching pupils on ASDAN programmes 11- 16 year olds.
Ofsted Registered.
My Availability
I would prefer something that would be live in if more than 15 miles away from Banbury, and also if being very early starts and late finishes.
