We were searching for full time childcare for our 9 month old son. We met with Alison and thought she was truly excellent. We ended up selecting nursery care but purely due to our own schedules. Our preference would have been to go with Alison, for the following reasons:
- she is clearly incredibly experienced and loves kids. There was no question that our son would be safe and looked after with Alison and her husband
- her Ofsted rating speaks for itself
- her house exudes love, and is clearly well maintained - her toy shed is epic and packed full of creative and learning toys
- she grows her own veg and gets her kids to help.
All in all it felt like we’d be leaving Jasper with the best grandma ever, who would ensure he was learning every day.
We’re a bit gutted that it didn’t work out and I still hope in the future we may be able to work with Alison, if our own commitments ease up. Highly recommended.
