My Experience
I have been babysitting since the age of 14
I used to nanny a family of 3 boys aged aged 4, 9 and 12 for three years
This involved pick up and taking to school, looking after them in the holidays, taking to and from activities. I prepared and cooked meals, supervised bath time and bedtime, reading stories with the younger ones, helping with homework and tidying up.
I have also looked after my 2 nephews and niece , now aged 4, 6 and 8, in the holidays for the past 5 years supporting my aunt.
I have been babysitting locally for friends and families for the past 10 years
Since the age of 10 I have helped my mother at family learning events and workshops in central London, working with children and families on craft and art activities , showing the children aged 18 months and upwards how to follow instructions and develop their own skills to make objects and communicate
