Hello! My name is Libby, and I'm a 25-year-old living and working in London. During the week, I work for an advertising and branding agency in the City, but childcare has always been something I genuinely enjoy and have extensive experience in.
Previously, I worked as a full-time live-in nanny for a wonderful family in central London. I was also fortunate to work as a nanny and children's host in the beautiful Swiss ski resort of Verbier, where I cared for children of different ages in a fun, active, and safe environment.
I love spending time with children and creating engaging, memorable experiences while always putting their safety and wellbeing first. Whether it's helping with getting creative with arts and crafts, playing outdoors, providing help with homework or simply providing reliable care, I always aim to make children feel happy, comfortable, and supported whilst having a fun time :)
I'm available during weekday evenings, weekends, and for ad hoc babysitting/ an extra pair of hands on a particularly busy day.
My Experience
I have several years of childcare experience, including sole-charge care of a 1-year-old boy and his 3-year-old (almost 4) sister as a full-time live-in nanny.
I also travelled internationally with the family on multiple occasions, including caring for the children independently while abroad, which required a high level of responsibility, organisation, and confidence. In addition, I have ad hoc nannied for a 3-year-old girl and for a family with two boys aged 3 and 6. Alongside my nannying roles, I have provided regular babysitting for three families over the past six years, building long-term relationships based on trust and reliability. I also spent three months volunteering at an orphanage in Tanzania, where I cared for children aged 1–15 years.
My Qualifications
I have a First Aid qualification and I am also a Lifeguard which includes my level 1 swimming instructor qualification.
My Availability
Weekday post 5pm (all evening)
Weekends all day/ evening
