About Me
I hold a degree in Psychology and have plenty experience in childcare having worked in primary schools and as a nanny for many years. I am friendly, creative and enthusiastic with children of all ages. I have my own car and am happy to drive to pick children up from school/ take them to activities etc. Additionally, I am more than happy to help with general tasks around the house such as light cleaning, washing and cooking. Non smoker and experienced with newborns and multiples.
I am currently training to help provide a personal postpartum package whereby I help new mothers adjust to parenthood in any which way they require. I’d love to help new mothers with adhoc childcare and emotional wellbeing support during the postpartum period. This would look different for everyone but would include tasks such as adhoc childcare, routines, weaning/feeding support, bonding activities, help with anxiety/fears of getting out and about with babies and lots more. I have a 4 year old son and a 1 year old daughter, who may be with me outside of school hours. They are both generally easygoing and very sociable so would love play happily with any children in my care.

My Experience
I have great experience in childcare of all ages and numbers. I regularly look after children between the ages of newborns up to 11 years and have happily worked with families of multiples. I also have two young children of my own. I have my own car and am happy to take children for activities such as swimming, soft play and forest school. I have worked in a local primary school as a 1-1 learning support assistant and teaching assistant so have experience of working with children with SEN and am familiar with the curriculum to support children’s education. Additionally, I supported families over lockdown with homeschooling and routines.
My Qualifications
Most recently I have gained a BSc degree in psychology. I have an A* in Health and Social care at GCSE and an A in maths and English along with 7 other GSCEs A-B. I also have 3 A levels in Psychology, Sociology and Philosophy.
My Availability
Currently available whenever needed.
My 18 month old attends nursery Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays so these are preferred days but not set if happy with my child attending.

- Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)
