I hold a degree in psychology and have plenty experience in childcare having worked in primary schools and as a nanny for many years. I am friendly, creative and enthusiastic with children of all ages. I have my own car and am happy to drive to pick children up from school/ take them to activities etc. Additionally, I am more than happy to help with general tasks around the house such as light cleaning, washing and cooking. Non smoker and experienced with newborns and multiples.
I have a 3 year old son and a 1 year old daughter, who will be with me at certain times. They are both pretty easygoing and very sociable so would love to play with any children in my care.
I am happy to arrange a meeting with parents/children free of charge before starting any work with a new family.
My Experience
I have a lot of experience in childcare of all ages and numbers. I regularly look after children between the ages of 11 and newborn and have worked with families of multiples. Additionally I have nannied twin boys whilst at university from 7-16 months and looked after other children aged 3-9 including homeschooling them during lockdown. I also have two young children of my own. I am happy to take children for activities such as swimming and soft play. I have worked in a local primary school as a 1-1 learning support assistant and teaching assistant so have experience of working with children with SEN and am familiar with the curriculum to support children’s education.
My Qualifications
Most recently I have gained a BSc degree in psychology. I have an A* in health and social care at GCSE and an A in maths and English along with 7 other GSCEs A-B. I also have 3 A levels in Psychology, Sociology and Philosophy.
My Availability
Currently available whenever needed.
My 3 year old attends nursery Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays so these are preferred days but not set.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
- Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)
To be arranged with parent.
